At InfoComm 2008, will demonstrate the Soundog audio system, a four-inch tabletop audio box utilizing wireless technology to provide a new way for sports enthusiasts to enjoy sporting events in a bar or restaurant setting — seeing the game while simultaneously hearing the play-by-play commentary.
Employing a long-range frequency, the Soundog speaker allows customers to audio surf through eight programs that are broadcasted simultaneously. While the establishment selects the programming, the customer can control the volume using digital push buttons and an easy on/off volume control on a hand-held unit.
The digital eight-channel transmitter, which broadcasts sound over a low FM frequency, does not interfere with other wireless devices. Soundog works with any standard- or high-definition cable or satellite receiver, including DirecTV or any other audio source. The system runs for up to 16 hours on a single charge, and recharges overnight on a wall-mounted charging station called the Doghouse™.

How to improve your guests’ experience & get better tips(read: Money):
1. Promote the Soundog everyday. Wear the Soundog
buttons. Have the Soundog out in full view of your
customers, use the main table tops. Put up Soundog
posters, door stickers, TV signs or other wall art.
2. When you introduce yourself to your customers and explain the daily specials, remember
to walk the “dog” to the table and show your customers how to use it….it’s so simple! Just
turn the knob, press the buttons, and voila, sound for the TVs!
3. Clean the “dogs”. After each use clean and (disinfect) the dogs. Simply spray the Soundogs
on all sides and wipe with a clean cloth (do not immerse in water).
4. Feed the “dogs”! At closing time, send the “dogs” to the Doghouse™ for a good night’s rest
(recharging). Let them sleep overnight and they will be ready to play in the morning!
5. Remember, if your customers are happy hearing the TV, it usually means they’ll stay longer
and spend more $$, resulting in better tips for you!
